What is VASER Lipo?
VASER (Vibration Amplification of Sound Energy at Resonance) liposuction represents the third generation of ultrasound-assisted liposuction, using pulsed energy for safer, more precise fat removal. The Process: Small incisions allow tumescent solution injection to expand the treatment area. A thin cannula delivers ultrasonic energy that liquefies fat while preserving surrounding tissue. The liquefied fat is then suctioned out. Recovery: Compression garments shape the treated area. Most patients need 12 hours rest and return to regular routines within a day (if not physically demanding). Avoid intense activity for three weeks. Advantages: Less damage to blood vessels, tissue, and nerves compared to traditional liposuction. Reduced post-operative pain and bruising. Local anesthetic only (no general anesthesia needed). Precise targeting of specific areas. The Technology: Specialized probes and pulsed energy delivery have significantly improved speed and safety since introduction in 2002.
